Who I am

This site is run by LAJ Holdings Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 17166631 (“I”, “me”). I’m the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: Show email address.

What I collect

If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to give: your company, its turnover band and your message.

If you email me, I receive your email address and whatever is in your message.

Like any website, the server keeps short-lived technical logs of requests, which include your IP address and browser type. They’re used only to keep the site running and secure.

The site has no analytics, advertising or tracking, and sets no cookies. See the cookie notice.

Why, and the lawful basis

I use your details only to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to set that up. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in answering enquiries about my business, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

I don’t add you to a mailing list, and I never sell or share your details for marketing.

Who else sees it

Contact form messages are sent by Resend to my business inbox, provided by Migadu. The site is hosted on a server with DigitalOcean in London. These providers process data for me and only on my instructions.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted after 12 months. Server logs are overwritten automatically, usually within a few weeks. If we work together, records are kept for as long as the law requires (usually six years for accounting records).

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I use it. Email Show email address and I’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), though I’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.
